The ghosts of this area’s ancient inhabitants have returned among us to remind us of the meaning and the preciousness of water. They will encourage us to clean the coast, and together we will discover what we are able to accomplish. Undoubtedly they will also want to tell us about their times, beliefs, habits, and what brought them to the present. You are invited to participate in a cleaning campaign which will be concluded with a creative workshop. We will observe water’s effects on the gathered debris, and work together to recycle the litter by trying to convert it to art or useful items. At the end of Cultural Heritage Week items created from debris will be exhibited in Mediadom Pyrhani. The cleaning campaign and the workshop are scheduled for Saturday, September 23rd from 10 am onwards; the exact location and any changes will be posted on the website. The presentation of our work will be held on Friday, September 29th, at 6 pm in Mediadom Pyrhani.
